Due to concerns over trademark infringement, the group heading the effort to implement a replacement for Zap2It Labs, has changed name to “Schedules Direct“. They already registered the domain and are redirecting from the old one.

Easy now - the solution is not ready yet, but it has been announced that Easy TV Data has been formed and that they are
“actively working on a solution that will provide what we hope will be a smooth transition away from Zap2it Labs by the September 1 deadline”.

Confidence growing in a MythTV EPG solution

Since the announcement by Zap2It Labs to discontinue their service by September 1st, there has been very little information from the MythTV developers - other than that they were working on something.
