Dell just recently announced the Studio Hybrid PC which actually looks quite nice. The specs are nice too.

MythTV widgets for 0.21

I like widgets. And so do a lot of other people it seems. At least they have become mainstream the last couple of years with widget engines from Google, Yahoo, Apple, Microsoft, etc.

Unofficial Windows frontend - MythTv Player - updated for 0.21

Since the new MythTV 0.21 release is using protocol 40, all frontends, official or not, should be in sync with that to ensure that they work properly.
This has just happened for MythTv Player. The new version is 0.4.2.

Build script for Windows MythTV Frontend

Those interested in the development of the MythTV frontend for Windows will be glad to know that a build script is in the making. Written in perl, it will serve the same purpose as the current build script for MacOS X.

MythTV Windows “Frontend” updated

MythTv Player is not an official MythTV Frontend, but definately much more convenient than a Samba connection.
It has been updated to 0.4.1. It’s just a bugfix where files where not gettings closed correctly.
