Schedules Direct lowers price yet again
Just one week after the price was lowered from $15 for three months to $15 for six months, it is now lowered to $20 for one year. That is also the goal which was set up originally, but I think no one expected this to happen so quickly.

Schedules Direct has just announced that they are lowering their prices. It used to be $15 for three months, now it is $15 for six months. All existing customers have received three extra months of service, plus a bonus of one day for each day they have been a member.

KnoppMyth R5F27 released
KnoppMyth R5F27 includes MythTV 0.20.2 with support for Schedules Direct guide data.
It now includes kernel 2.6.18.8 and software updates for everything ranging from graphics drivers and libraries to Media players and themes.
New stuff includes Sirius and XM support, project grayhem theme, Bluetooth support and lots of small scripts.

Schedules Direct reaches break-even
Schedules Direct has posted on their website that they have reached break-even. This is good news for those who have signed up, as it means they will be around to provide guide data for a while. Schedules Direct is now live
Schedules Direct has finished the testing and is now ready to take memberships. This was announced yesterday. You can sign up here.
MythTV 0.20.2 has been released and this release supports Schedules Direct. If you are not ready to upgrade yet, you can use XMLTV with Schedules Direct. There is a script available here.
MythTV 0.20.2 has been released
This version primarily adds support for guide data from Schedules Direct, but there are other changes as well:
 Reduced memory consumption
Faster startup of frontend
UPnP fixes
MythWeather is still not fixed, so it is disabled.

Schedules Direct add first 100 users and finds first bug
This morning Schedules Direct let in the first 100 users to “kick the tires and break things”. And break things they did. There are problems validating zip codes, and so the beta is currently stopped while they figure out what is wrong.

Schedule Direct has added forums and has also made an announcement about the current situation.
