Actually it is not completely new, but back in December it was decided to resurrect it.
Currently work is getting done on the MythWeb interface for MythRecipe and when that is done, the frontend interface will be implemented using MythUI.

It has been a long wait… MythTV 0.20 was released on September 11, 2006. In 2007, 0.20.1 and 0.20.2 were released. And now it sounds like MythTV 0.21 will be released in February 2008.

For whatever reason the MythTV frontend is not available for Windows. It is meant to run on Linux and it also runs on MacOS. A new skin for MythWeb was just announced. It is named Haze and is available in two flavors - light and dark. From the webpage it reads:
“The skin aims to provide a consistent Look and feel accross the MythWeb modules with a high gloss modern appearence and 3D icons.”
