MythDora 5.0 released

MythDora is based on Fedora 8 and uses the 2.6.24.4-64 kernel. Naturally it includes MythTV 0.21.

Worldwide MythTV installation party taking shape for February 16th
There is currently a lot of activity ongoing trying to organize MythTV installation parties around the world. A date has been set - February 16th 2008 - and people are volunteering to host the event at different venues around the globe.

KnoppMyth, Mythbuntu and MythDora compared
Linux.com has a great, short article about these three MythTV centric distributions. It covers the installation process and compares the running systems.
The short conclusion is that currently MythDora is ahead, but Mythbuntu shows promise and should be checked again when the final 7.10 release becomes available.
MythDora 4.0 video tutorial
mythpvr.com has posted a three part video tutorial covering the installation of MythDora 4.0.
Each part is about four minutes long and it is pretty thorough and gives you a good introduction to MythDora 4.0.
MythDora 4.0 Finally Released
The title says it all - after a beta period, MythDora 4.0 was released two days ago.
The new release has a lot of nice new features:
