Brent Evans is at it once again. He has now received his HD PVR from Hauppauge and is documenting the whole process with images, text and video!

I am a big fan of the SilverStone cases, they are of great quality, they look great and there is a big variety to chose from. One of them is the Lascala LC14. It is a case with multimedia buttons on the front and you can get it with or without built in VFD.

I’m not currently waiting for anything to be put into the kernel, so for me there is not anything particularly interesting in there, but I guess it all depends on what hardware you have.
Check the very detailed changelog to see if you should upgrade.

Just as I posted that the HD PVR would be delayed, it now appears that it will be shipping May 1st!
According to Brent Evans the device which will be called the “HD PVR model 1212″ should be available for preorder later today.

According to Brent Evans, this anxiously awaited device from Hauppauge will be delayed until possibly the beginning of June.
The HD-PVR will let you record analog HD content available through component. It will encode 720p, 1080i and 1080p as H.264. It includes an IR blaster so it can control your cable box.

SilentPCReview.com just crowned a new PSU king. It is the Enermax Modu82+ 625W.
As you might have guessed, it is 625 watts and it is the least noisy power supply they have tested yet, if you ignore the passively cooled ones. It is also available as 525 and 425 watts.
