Using the Sony PS3 remote with MythTV

Tired of looking at that cheap remote that came with your Hauppauge card?

Then maybe you should consider using the Sony PS3 remote with MythTV. There is a new page on the MythTV wiki describing how to set it up.

The Sony PS3 remote uses Bluetooth instead of the more usual Ir, so you need a bluetooth receiver on your MythTV frontend. The remote itself will set you back about $25 and it is about the same amount for a USB Bluetooth dongle. The remote has 51 buttons, which makes it very useful for MythTV.
