Hauppauge HD-PVR delayed

According to Brent Evans, this anxiously awaited device from Hauppauge will be delayed until possibly the beginning of June.

The HD-PVR will let you record analog HD content available through component. It will encode 720p, 1080i and 1080p as H.264. It includes an IR blaster so it can control your cable box.

The device was first presented at CES back in January and it has been announced to have a suggested retail price of $249. It is currently not clear what the timeframe is for a Linux driver.
