Mythbuntu 8.04 Alpha 2 available

This is based on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron). Ubuntu 8.04 is scheduled for release in April and Mythbuntu is usually not far behind.

MythbuntuMythbuntu 8.04 is based on MythTV 0.21-fixes which is not yet released.

Ubuntu 8.04 contains Xorg 7.3, Linux Kernel 2.6.24 and many more things.

Remember - this is very early software - it is still full of bugs and mainly useful as a glimpse of what will come in April. So read all the instructions carefully before installing. Read here how to get it.

Major addition of hardy heron is pulse audio. Does anyone know how myth behaves with this?

I use mythtv with pulseaudio on my gentoo box right now. It requires a patch to myth .20-fixes, but I think that patch has been rolled in to .21.
