There is a new page on the mythtv.org wiki describing what you can do to rebuild the seektable of a recording.
When do you need this? Well the symptoms of a corrupt seektable are:
Being unable to skip forward and backward correctly, and
Recordings reporting the incorrect length.

Back in October it was announced that LinuxMCE 0710 would become available at the end of November. This didn’t happen though, in fact it is still not available. I’m a software developer myself, so I’m not going to criticize anyone - I’m sure there is a good reason.

Those interested in the development of the MythTV frontend for Windows will be glad to know that a build script is in the making. Written in perl, it will serve the same purpose as the current build script for MacOS X.
