More MythTV and X10 integration

As mentioned last week there was a video posted on YouTube showing an integration between MythTV and X10. This was used for dimming the lights when a movie was started.
Now there is a complete howto on instructables.com. It will tell you how to get a new menu on your MythTV frontend. From that menu you can control your X10 modules, which will allow you to control the lights, etc. from your remote control.
There are even a couple of videos showing the endresult. Like this one:

Great! What I can’t figure out though is why the information isn’t put in the official wiki instead of having it left lying around on a non-mythtv specific site :-\
