I wrote about MythPython back in September and since then nothing has happened. But now it sounds like we could see a release of this MythTV plugin next week. The developer of the plugin says on the MythTV users mailinglist:

“I am currently working on it. I try to make a new release next week with two useable python scripts: One script, which allows the user to watch trailers from the apple homepage and another plugin to control the Music Player Daemon (www.musicpd.org). Currently I am busy with testing Threads within scripts and fixing some MythUITypes I wrote for MythPython.”
