NVIDIA has released a new version of their display driver for Linux.
The most interesting items are:
New GPUs supported: Quadro FX 290, FX 370, FX 570 and FX 1700.
A performance regression on GeForce 8 GPUs fixed.

It is not really clear what has changed for this version, but at least it says in the release notes that the name you need to specify in xorg.conf has changed from ‘via’ to ‘openchrome’.
The supported features are:
Free modesetting for Unichrome and Unichrome Pro chipset.
VBE modesetting for everything not natively supported.
TV-out support.

Hold your horses - MythPython is not exactly ready yet, but it has been discussed on the MythTV developer mailinglist.
Basically it will make it easy to develop new plugins (if you know python…)

Two days ago Mythbuntu started their weekly builds of the MythTV release-0-20-fixes branch.
Actually there are also weekly builds of trunk, but if you go for that, be aware that you will not receive any support from the Ubuntu MythTV team.
