MiniMyth now includes MythTV 0.20.2. You can see the complete contents of the new MiniMyth release here.

MythTV 0.20.2 packages available for Ubuntu, Gentoo, MacOS, openSUSE

MythTV 0.20.2 was just released and already packages are available for a wide range of distributions.

MythTV packages are now available for Ubuntu and thus MythBuntu. Support is available for Gutsy as well as Feisty and Edgy.
New ebuilds are also available in portage for Gentoo.

Schedules Direct is now live

Schedules Direct has finished the testing and is now ready to take memberships. This was announced yesterday. You can sign up here.
MythTV 0.20.2 has been released and this release supports Schedules Direct. If you are not ready to upgrade yet, you can use XMLTV with Schedules Direct. There is a script available here.

MythTV 0.20.2 has been released

This version primarily adds support for guide data from Schedules Direct, but there are other changes as well:

 Reduced memory consumption
Faster startup of frontend
UPnP fixes

MythWeather is still not fixed, so it is disabled.

MythTV 0.20.2 to be released within a week

There has been quite some confusion over which MythTV version is actually the latest release as it is evident on this page (it is 0.20.1). But if you look closely on that same page you’ll see that 0.20.2 will be released within a week. The release notes for 0.20.2 have also been updated.

Schedules Direct add first 100 users and finds first bug

This morning Schedules Direct let in the first 100 users to “kick the tires and break things”. And break things they did. There are problems validating zip codes, and so the beta is currently stopped while they figure out what is wrong.
