A new skin for MythWeb was just announced. It is named Haze and is available in two flavors - light and dark. From the webpage it reads:
“The skin aims to provide a consistent Look and feel accross the MythWeb modules with a high gloss modern appearence and 3D icons.”

There is an interesting article about MythTV in the latest issue of “Full Circle Magazine“. It is a magazine about Ubuntu Linux.
The article is in the “howto” section, but it is not really a howto guide, but instead more of a description of the Ubuntu Feisty MythTV packages.

“Practical MythTV” was published not long ago and now the first review has been written. It’s not on Amazon, but on what appears to be a private blog.
The verdict? 5 out of 5!

There is a nice story on AVS Forum, from a guy who tried both MythTV and Vista Media Center.
He starts by admitting that he is a long time Linux user and a Microsoft hater, but still ends up picking Vista Media Center over MythTV.

I’m back from vacation, so posting frequency should pick up again now, I hope.
Mythbuntu 7.04 Public Alpha 1 is now available (the whole point of being public…)
Based on the known issues, it is definately not ready yet, but hey, it’s Alpha.
Anyway, many people will be happy once this is up and running, since Ubuntu Feisty […]
