More info on the Zap2It Labs shutdown

Michael Still, author of “Practical MythTV” is providing a nice analysis of the likely outcome of the pending Zap2It Labs shutdown. His basic message is: “Don’t panic!”
I agree with him, and of the four options he lists, I believe the XMLTV screen scraper to be the most likely outcome.
In another post on his blog he adds some details about the reasons for Zap2IT Labs shutting down. Apparently misuse by commercial prebuilt MythTV systems have some of the blame.
Meanwhile the MythTV community is buzzing because of this announcement. Currently there are 135 replies in this Zap2It shutdown thread on the MythTV Users mailing list.
