MythTV is now running on AppleTV! (Updated)

As I wrote the other day, Neil Raymond was trying to get the MythTV frontend running on AppleTV, but failing. Not so anymore!

There are not a lot of details yet about how Neil managed to get it running, but the announcement is in this post on the MythTV users mailinglist

So far only SD playback has been tested, but hopefully 720p will work just fine. This means you can have a 720p MythTV frontend in a very small nice looking and quiet box for $299!

Update: The procedure requires an Intel Mac and you have to take the AppleTV apart to get the harddisk out.
